1. General Terms

​

    •    All services provided by Emily Blake require written agreement or confirmation via email or invoice.

    •    All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

    •    A 50% deposit may be required to secure bookings for larger projects.

    •    Full payment is required before the release of final materials or live performance execution unless otherwise agreed.

    •    All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

2. Consultancy Services

 

(Business Strategy, Brand Development, Culinary Consulting, Music Industry Consulting, Personal Development Consulting)

 

    •    Consultancy services are charged at a flat rate of $150 per hour (30-minute minimum).

    •    Sessions may be delivered via Zoom, phone, or in person.

    •    Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

    •    Advice is given in good faith but no outcomes or guarantees are promised.

    •    All shared information during sessions is treated confidentially unless disclosure is required by law.

3. Website Design and Graphic Design Services

 

(Website Builds, E-commerce Sites, Logo Design, Business Cards, Flyers, Letterheads, Branding Visual Identity)

    •    Website and design work is quoted per package or per item as outlined in service descriptions.

    •    A 50% deposit is required before commencing any website or graphic design project.

    •    Two (2) rounds of minor revisions are included; additional revisions are charged at $120 per hour.

    •    Clients must provide all necessary content (text, images, branding) before work can begin.

    •    Emily Blake retains the right to showcase completed websites and designs in her portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

    •    Domains, hosting, and subscriptions (e.g., Wix Premium) are the responsibility of the client unless explicitly stated otherwise.

    •    Ownership of finished websites and designs transfers to the client only after full payment is received. Working source files (e.g., PSD, AI files) are not automatically included unless agreed separately.

4. Live Performances

 

(Vocal Performances for Events, Schools, Community Programs, Youth Workshops)

    •    Standard live performance fee: $1,000 per set (45 minutes).

    •    Discounted rate for schools, youth programs, aged care, Indigenous and Pacific Islander initiatives: $800 per set.

    •    Travel and accommodation costs for interstate or regional performances must be covered by the client.

    •    A 50% cancellation fee applies if performances are cancelled within 14 days of the event.

    •    Sound system and technical support must be provided by the client unless otherwise arranged.

5. Studio Recording Services

 

(Studio Vocal Recording, Topline Writing, Songwriting, Studio Demo Creation)

    •    Studio Session Rates:

    •    Lead vocals only: $400 per song

    •    Lead + harmonies/backing vocals: $500–$600 per song

    •    Full writing + vocals: $800+ per song

    •    Hourly studio rate: $120 per hour (minimum 2 hours)

    •    Full studio demo add-on: $200

    •    Two (2) minor revisions are included; major revisions will incur additional charges.

    •    Ownership of original writing, melodies, and vocal compositions remains with Emily Blake unless a specific agreement regarding royalties or buyout is made.

    •    Unauthorized use, commercial distribution, or modification of studio recordings without written agreement is prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property and Usage

​

    •    Clients receive usage rights to completed websites, logos, graphic designs, and recordings after full payment.

    •    Emily Blake retains copyright to original compositions, creative works, and project drafts unless otherwise agreed.

    •    No client is permitted to resell or publicly redistribute Emily Blake’s work without express written permission.

    •    Emily Blake reserves the right to reference completed projects in promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

​

    •    Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where Emily Blake initiates a cancellation.

    •    If a client cancels a project or booking mid-process, work completed up to that point must be paid for in full.

    •    Refunds are not issued for change of mind once work has commenced.

8. Limitation of Liability

​

    •    Emily Blake provides all services in good faith but accepts no liability for:

    •    Loss of profits, income, or business opportunities arising from project outcomes;

    •    Delays caused by client non-responsiveness;

    •    Technical failures after project handover;

    •    Use of third-party platforms (e.g., Wix hosting, PayPal integrations).

    •    Clients are responsible for maintaining backups and security updates after delivery unless a maintenance agreement is established.

9. Force Majeure

​

    •    Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations if caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, technical failures, government restrictions, or emergencies.

10. Agreement to Terms

​

    •    By confirming a booking, project, or payment for any service, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
